Gravity

Sign

Roll 1d2 every morning.  On a 1, you weigh half of what you ‘normally’ weigh.  On a 2, you weigh one and a half times what you ‘normally’ do.  This cannot be suppressed.

Influence

You always seem to be hungrier than you should, as if you have a tapeworm.  However, satisfying this extra hunger does not cause you to gain any additional weight.

Automatic Power

Personal Gravity – You take no penalty on attack rolls in high-gravity, low-gravity, zero-gravity environments, and you ignore the debilitating effects of space sickness.

Granted Powers

  • Accelerator – As a standard action, you can accelerate an object with a mass less than 0.1 kg to lethal velocities.  This functions as a weapon that operates at pistol ranges, and does 2d8 damage.  You are considered proficient with this weapon.  You add half your level to this damage, as normal for a weapon.  This counts as a pistol for the purposes of feats and talents (but you can’t customize it with Tech Specialist, Superior Tech, or Equipment Modifications).
  • Advanced Personal Gravity – You can choose which direction is ‘down’ for you, effectively granting you climb speed equal to your base speed.  This can also be used to gain a fly speed only usable in zero-gravity environments or a swim speed.
  • Altered Constant – As a swift action, once per encounter, you can choose to make yourself heavier or lighter.  If you make yourself heavier, you gain a +4 bonus to Strength.  If you make yourself lighter, you gain a +4 bonus to Dexterity.  This bonus lasts for 1 round per 3 character levels.
  • Extreme Personal Gravity – Your ability to choose which direction is ‘down’ improves, granting you a fly speed equal to your base land speed.  You must have Advanced Personal Gravity to choose this ability.
  • Shared Personal Gravity – As a swift action, you can share the benefits of Personal Gravity (only the basic, Automatic Power version) with a number of creatures equal to 1/4th your character level.  The creatures must remain adjacent to you, and this effect lasts for 1/5th your character level, and you must wait 5 rounds after it ends before activating it again.

Ultimate Power

Black Hole – Once per day, as a full-round action, you can create a maelstrom of gravitation 40 squares wide, spiraling “down” even when “down” would be into a physical object.  At the center of the maelstrom is a 2 square wide area of safety.  There is no target selection, this ability targets everything – friend or foe – within the 20 square radius area and sucks it down into the bottomless abyss.  Make a Magery check.  Targets who’s Reflex Defense is not beaten by the Magery check successfully grab onto a secured object and resist being dragged into the abyss, but they take 4d6 bludgeoning, 4d6 slashing, and 4d6 piercing damage from the debris being whirled around by the effect.  Targets who’s Reflex Defense is beaten are dragged into the bottomless gravitation abyss and are never seen again…usually.
