Sign
See Bite Attack automatic power. This cannot be suppressed.
Influence
You are clinically hematophagic. Failure to consume raw blood for a number of days equal to your Constitution modifier moves you 1 step down on the condition track. For every additional number of days equal to your Constitution modifier, you move a further step down. If you move all the way down on the condition track, you die of starvation. Feeding immediately removes all persistent steps down the track that resulted from not feeding.
Automatic Power
Bite Attack – You gain a bite attack (and correspondingly, large, sharp canines) that deals 1d4+STR Mod damage (plus half your level, as normal). It can only be used against pinned, helpless, or willing targets.
Granted Powers
- Blood Is Life – Whenever you deal damage with your bite attack to a living target (other than yourself or another contractor of Life), you regain HP equal to half of the of damage dealt. If this would take you over your normal maximum HP, it instead is added to a separate pool of HP that you have. This separate HP pool does not count as being part of your hit points for the purposes of taking damage, but is used before your own hit points when dealing with the effects of the Vital Transfer spell. HP is lost from this pool at a rate of 10 HP per day, and your separate HP pool may not hold more HP than your normal maximum hit points.
- Blood Is All: You can use the HP pool that Blood Is Life gives you to create temporary objects. This expends an amount of HP from that pool dependent on the object made (see the table below). This can produce a facsimile of electrically-powered items, which function as normal, but it cannot duplicate computer systems or smartgun systems. These items last until expended or until the end of the encounter.

- Blood Is Power: When you damage a living creature with your bite attack, you gain a bonus to attack and melee damage equal to one-quarter your character level (minimum +1). This bonus lasts for a number of turns equal to half your character level.
- Exsanguinate: Increase the damage dice of your bite attack to 2d6.
- Lifesight: You can detect living targets in the dark as if you had Darkvision. You can also determine the current HP of any living target you can see.
