While the Proximans consider the honor and respect from one’s peers that is gained in battle to be a reward in and of itself, there are several awards and commendations that they issue. Each individual Vassal State has their own awards, in addition to ones issued by the Suzerain themselves.

Order of Naicun I – Named for the Proximan leader who united the tribes across their homeworld and became the first High Suzerain, the Order of Naicun I is used to recognize distinguished personal service to the High Suzerain, any members of their family, any Suzerain, and any of the Crown Princes. Until the Battle of Pluto, this had never been awarded to a non-Proximan. The 314th Combat Engineers of the Terran Alliance’s Combet Engineer Corps were inducted as Honored Sword-Bearers for their service in rescuing and protecting Crown Prince Zhoar when he was shot down over Pluto during the opening ambushes that began the battle. All members receive an ornate and finely-crafted Stone Sword, which is the ceremonial badge of membership for this order. While it is primarily a ceremonial piece, it is also a formidable and capable weapon, outfitted with many of the innovations that have been developed for the venerable stone sword over the ages.
