Carrying Capacity

A character’s carrying capacity is determined by their Strength score.  The amount of weight (in Kilograms) that a character can carry is equal to: ((Strength Score)/2)^2.

For example, a character with a strength of 12 can carry 36 kilograms without penalty.

Carrying more than this counts as a heavy load.  When carrying a heavy load, a character takes a -10 penalty on checks made using the following skills: Acrobatics, Climb, Endurance, Initiative, Jump, Stealth, and Swim.  A heavy load reduces the character’s speed to three-quarters normal (rounded down).  A character can move up to three times his or her normal speed when carrying a heavy load (instead of four times).  The maximum amount that a character can carry as a heavy load is equal to (STR Score)^2

A character can lift double their heavy load, but they must remain in one square while doing so.

Carrying Capacity: (Strength/2)^2

Heavy Load: (Strength)^2

Max Lift: 2*((Strength)^2)
