The Decker Arsenal “Ordinatus” is a handcrafted, rare pistol, found among the hands of the wealthy and the insane (and sometimes both at the same time).  This weapon is perfect both for those who feel the need to overcompensate for something, and for those who find themselves in need of heavy weapon class firepower in a pistol-sized weapon.  Firing a custom-designed 21x60mm rocket-assisted round, the Ordinatus is a veritable hand cannon.  As a double-barreled breech-loading firearm, it is best used to end a threat situation early on, as its ammunition capacity makes it difficult to use in extended combat situations.  A sizable amount of gunpowder ejects the ludicrously large projectile from the barrel, at which point a small rocket engine takes over, propelling the bullet towards its target at high speed.

As a swift action, the user of the Ordinatus can switch between modes on the weapon: Safed, Single-Shot Upper, Single-Shot Lower, and Double-Shot.  In Safed mode, the weapon cannot fire.  In Single-Shot Upper or Lower mode, the weapon fires the round that is in that barrel.  In Double-Shot mode, the weapon fires both barrels simultaneously at the same target, with a -5 penalty to the attack.  A user with lower than 14 Strength takes a -4 penalty on attack when firing the Ordinatus in a Single-Shot mode, and a user with lower than 16 Strength takes a -4 penalty when firing it in Double-Shot mode.

A user with lower than 12 Strength who attempts to use the weapon in a Single-Shot mode, or a user with lower than 14 Strength who attempts to use the weapon in Double-Shot mode automatically misses on their attack, and breaks their wrists, suffering 4d6 damage and moving -2 steps on the condition track.  This condition track penalty is a persistent condition, treatable with a DC 15 Treat Injury check made to Perform Surgery.

The 21x60mm rocket-assisted ammunition made for the Ordinatus costs 300 credits per round for regular ammunition, but it comes in a variety of additional standard types: Armor-Piercing, Explosive, Frangible, Gel, and Incendiary.  Each round weighs a whopping 0.5 kg.

Additionally, each barrel can be converted into a shotgun barrel capable of firing 12 Gauge Shotgun Shells through the use of an interchangeable barrel, which costs 3000 credits per barrel.  These rounds are available in standard shotshell (3d8 piercing damage to an adjacent target or 2d8 damage to a non-adjacent 2×2 square area within range of the weapon) and the standard Shock shotgun ammunition (the latter of which can be used by any user with no penalty and no risk of user injury, due to their lower gunpowder load).  If only one barrel has been converted, the weapon can no longer be used in Double-Shot mode.

As a handcrafted, made-to-order piece, the Ordinatus is extremely expensive for a personal firearm – costing 10,500 credits.  The Ordinatus is technically not a pistol according to Alliance weapons law, falling into the category of “Destructive Device” due to its large caliber.  Due to this, there is a 500 credit fee attached to all sales of the Ordinatus to pay for the Destructive Device tax that Decker Arsenal must pay each time they manufacture one of the weapons.  The proper license for the pistol costs 4,200 credits as well, placing this weapon well out of the reach of the general public.
