Organizations

  • Rola Colony’s Totally Legitimate Starship Design and Repair Shop
Operated by a splinter (but authorized) group of the Ta Rola Colony, the Totally Legitimate Starship Design and Repair Shop is in reality two shops - the front organization that does indeed engage in legitimate starship design and repair services, and the secret black-market mod ring that works right under the noses of the station authorities.
  • Terran Alliance Organizations
    • Extraterrestrial Coalition of the Occult (ECO)
Formed as an alternative to older, Earth-based magic groups, ECO was based on a growing desire for independence from the control and mistakes of Earth. The two primary aims of ECO are to promote the welfare of mages and psions, and to advance the cause of the independence movements that led to the formation of the Independent Lunar Colonial Organization and the United Martian Colonies, as well as to ensure the continued independence of those entities following the war. Members are drawn primarily from the inhabitants of Luna, Mars and Alpha Prime. The majority of members are Lunar and Martian-born mages, although some prefer to find less political entities to associate with. ECO, naturally, is a target for anti-mage/psionic groups, as well as Earth-based organizations who wish to control off-world colonies and projects. During the Belt Rebellion, ECO spoke out against the violence, but was sympathetic to the plight of the miners, and heavily criticized the Earth-based corporations and PMCs involved.
    • Pontifical Order of Saint Joan of Arc
Of the Three Holy Orders, the Pontifical Order of Saint Joan of Arc is the only one that answers directly to the Pope instead of answering to College of Cardinals.  The terms "Joanites" and "Arcine" are used interchangeably when referring to this order, with "Joanites" usually referring to the members of the order, and the "Arcine Order" being the accepted short name of the order. The Joanites are the militaristic arm of the Three Holy Orders, charged with defending the Church against supernatural threats to its existence.  Currently this has only ever been used to stop a few attacks by radicals, both of Catholic and non-Catholic persuasion.
    • The Benevolent Martian Order of Cydonian Knights
Originally a social club founded by bored employees of the Robert E Howard Artist's Enclave who just wanted to ride around the Martian desert and drink, the Benevolent Martian Order of Cydonian Knights soon bloomed into Mars's first independent philanthropic organization.  Formed along the idea of similar organizations on Earth, it attracted the attention of artists, entertainers, philanthropists, and politicians, and has become the premier charity organization on the Red Planet.
    • Работа (‘Rabota’)
Rabota (Работа), which literally translates to "Work," is a clandestine network of civilians engaging in intelligence gathering through HUMINT and OSINT methods. Founded in 2018 by a reclusive businessman who is known as Dmitry, Rabota harvests its intelligence from the upper crust of society by running a network of night clubs, social clubs, high-class restaurants, and other similar establishments. These establishments all cater to the rich and famous who prefer to be protected from the prying eyes of tabloid journalists, and are known for their discretion in accepting new clientele. This serves two functions - one - it protects the clients, and two - it puts a filter in place to ensure that anyone who is allowed membership in these establishments is actually a potential source of information. Rabota got its start in Moscow, but has grown to include other establishments on Earth and is currently considering opening up branches on Luna and Mars. Publicly, Rabota is known as Скрытое Ночная жизнь, ООО (Covert Nightlife, LLC), a corporation incorporated in Moscow which owns the establishments that Rabota operates out of.
