Hacking Feats

Chain Hack [Hacking]
Benefit: A Hacker can chain a hack action to multiple targets. For every target struck, the hacker receives –4 penalty to a maximum number of targets equal to the hacker’s INT modifier.
Normal: A hacker attempting to chain a hack to multiple targets takes a –8 for every target to a maximum number of targets equal to the hacker’s INT modifier.

Chain Hack Radius [Hacking]
Prerequisite: Chain Hack
Benefit: A Hacker can sent out a radial hack action to all available targets within 10 squares of the target. The Hacker must roll once for all of them with a –4 penalty.
Normal: A hacker cannot chain a hack action to more than a number of targets equal to the hacker’s INT modifier.

Cooperative Hack [Hacking] [Team]
Benefit: Anyone with Cooperative Hack feat can team up on a system as an aid another action. Each one that joins in using the same hack attack gives the primary hacker a +4 to all attempts to all rolls connected with that hack.
Normal: Aid another only offers a +2 bonus.

Extra Barrier [Hacking]
Benefit: You can have one additional Surface Barrier active.
Normal: You usually can only have a number of surface barriers active equal to your INT modifier (or your WIS modifier, for personal barriers of Electromagnetism contractors), with a minimum number of surface barriers of 1.

Greater Hack Focus [Hacking]
Benefit: Choose a type of hack action to which you already have applied the Hack Focus feat. Add a +4 bonus to Hackcraft checks to attempt that hack action. This bonus stacks with the bonus from Hack Focus.
Special: You can gain this feat multiple times. Its effects do not stack. Each time you take the feat, it applies to a new hack action to which you already have applied the Hack Focus feat.

Hack Focus [Hacking]
Benefit: Choose a specific hack action. Add a +4 bonus to Hackcraft checks to attempt that hack action.
Special: You can gain this feat multiple times. Its effects do not stack. Each time you take the feat, it applies to a new hack action.

Hack Mastery [Hacking]
Benefit: Your number of hack actions readied increases by 1/2 your INT Bonus.
Normal: Hackers can only have double their INT bonus of hacks readied at any one time. With this, a +4 INT bonus would mean 10 Hacks instead of 8.

Improved Back-Hack [Hacking]
Benefit: When counterattacking a hacker, you gain a +5 on Use Computer checks made to back-hack.

The Gift [Hacking]
Prerequisite: INT 16 or higher, trained in the Hackcraft skill
Benefit: You move one more slot down on the Hack table for all purposes. This can only be taken once.
