Still the most popular form of ground transportation in the Terran Alliance. Internal combustion engines may have given way to electric motors, but wheels still propel the vehicle forward. Although slower than airspeeders, and far more prone to mechanical failure, groundcars remain popular due to the fact that they are comparatively cheap. The standard models are intended for paved roads, but a common modification to the suspension and tires enables a groundcar to be driven off-road. Military versions of this exist, usually with a top-mounted cannon (3d10 damage, no autofire, uses the unused emplacement point)
